From the makers of the video “Chronic State”,  comes another educational video concerning marijuana, legalization and what it could mean to the state of Idaho. This production offers a wide spectrum of knowledge and provides the viewer an understanding into the evolution of marijuana in America, how increased potency is associated to increased risk for mental and physical health issues as well as the pathway to legalization. Drawing on the expertise of numerous subject matter experts featured in the video, “Smokescreen” shares keen insights concerning marijuana and legalization that are applicable to all states. Shot against the backdrop of Montana’s beauty, it is contrasted by the hazards associated to the legalization of marijuana, not just in Idaho but nationally.

Marijuana is one of the most misunderstood and misrepresented drugs in America; which is why it’s important to recognize the facts from the fiction. This 12 minute video, divided into 6 sections, will use current research findings to factually address several of the most common misconceptions about today’s marijuana in America.

Some states that have legalized marijuana for recreational use have experienced a surge in the drug’s black market activity. In particular, Colorado has become a haven for underground marijuana cultivation, sale and export, prompting questions about how legalization led to some unforeseen consequences.
